Rose Colored Glass

With a renewed spirit and an excitement for new beginnings I haven't felt in a long time, I am overflowing with feelings of creativity and the need to forge ahead. I cannot help but mention that many of us who are in the creative fields tend to face life differently than others.. Positive, based in the belief that what is good and important will inevitably prevail. It is with this thought that I have been finding the need to inspire. I've always wanted to be a writer, but never applied that desire accordingly. Through my jewelry, I have always felt this insatiable urge to bless others with a pretty necklace of a pair of earrings.. I cannot tell you how many times a piece I am wearing appeals to someone for one reason or another.. and in my heart I just want to give. With that in mind, I've started creating pieces which truly make me happy. As a result, I've been allowing things to fall into place without pushing them in the direction I think they need to go. I truly believe that the right people will be compelled to have it and that the right boutiques will want to represent it. I have come a long way personally over the last several years and today I am writing with a clarity of actualization. My jewelry is my passion. My jewelry is a source of inspiration for me.. and I've seen it be so for others. I love to encourage people and I enjoy seeing others when they find peace and clarity in situations. So, "Through Rose Colored Glass".. I hope we can all take a moment to calm our anxious hearts and slow our pace for a bit to recognize that in life, we should all find a sense of responsibility to one another. To uplift those in our lives and to smile through thoughts of grief or anger, and to share those joyful moments in our lives that make us want to laugh again like we were children.. To make ourselves better individuals in hopes that others will be guided by our ways. I, of all people, am not perfect; but I love A LOT.. and because of that.. I have a beautiful nine year old daughter who smiles with her eyes and laughs from a place of sincerity that a lot of us could learn from. I wish you all much LOVE, much PEACE, and clarity to LAUGH in inappropriate moments so much so that we can't help but forget why we shouldn't be laughing. Be blessed my dear friend! Be kind to one another and remember to smile!

Summer Inspirations

I have been travelling a bit lately and I am feeling inspired by the reactions of people on the street. I am always trying to wear my jewelry out and about just to get feedback.. And, you never know, perhaps a bit of business along the way. I'm loving the gypsy laid back feeling of the mix and match pieces. I'm dying over long dresses for summer that are long, flowing and sexy.. Mixing and matching has become a signature in my line and I have added several pieces to the collection over the last few weeks. Enjoy and let me know your thoughts!
